TRANSCRIPT OF Galileiprints’s INTERVIEW WITH THE INFLUENCER EXPERIENCE
How did you become an influencer?
Mom, whom I occasionally refer to as Steph, kick-started my Instagram journey back in late 2015 when I was just a few months old. She was convinced that I was the most adorable creature on the planet and wanted to share my cuteness with the world.
Where in the world are you based? Tell us about your upbringing.
I was born and raised in the bustling city of New York, so I’m quite accustomed to the fast-paced urban life. When I was a pup, Steph used to carry me on the subway in a rather ghastly beach bag of hers. We explored the city together, enjoying coffee, trying on clothes, and indulging in dollar oyster happy hours in Greenwich Village. You know, the typical mother-son bonding activities.
After a year in the Big Apple, my human companions and I decided to leave the concrete jungle. Since then, we’ve called Oregon, San Diego, and Philadelphia our homes. We consider ourselves fortunate to have explored much of the United States and Canada. We’ve camped under the stars in Lake Tahoe, evaded a moose in the Grand Canyon, and taken selfies in Joshua Tree National Park. We even had a brief Vegas escapade one weekend. I might not have any money, but if I did, you’d find me playing the slots all night long.
Most recently, I insisted on accompanying my parents on their honeymoon to France and Italy. I had to be there.
What’s your favorite treat?
Carnitas tacos. I’m particularly fond of tacos.
Do you prefer walking in the snow or on grass?
While the snow can be a lot of fun, I prefer the feel of grass or sand beneath my paws. My coat features luscious, flowing locks with ombré highlights, and snow has a knack for getting tangled in my hair. Just last week, Steph had to wash out a snowball the size of a baseball from my chest hair.
On a side note, I’m aspiring to become a Celebrity Ambassador for Pantene. Selena Gomez is also a Celebrity Ambassador for Pantene, you see.
We noticed you mention texting Selena Gomez. Does she reply?
Indeed, I like to send a few texts to Selena Gomez every day. In case you weren’t aware, Selena is the love of my life and my future wife.
And no, Selena hasn’t responded to any of my texts. But I remain optimistic.
You’ve been rumored to pee on hardwood floors. Is that true, or is it a malicious campaign initiated by cats?
Well, I used to be guilty of peeing on hardwood floors, quite frequently actually. But it’s been many months since I last had an accident indoors.
If you had to choose, would you be a pirate or a ninja?
Definitely a pirate. No doubt about it.
Really? We assumed you’d lean more towards being a ninja.
Ninjas are cool, no doubt, but I have an immense love for the beach and the water. I genuinely go ecstatic every time I see a beach. Picture an elderly lady who just won the lottery – that’s me when I’m at the beach.
Whoops, our mistake. Let’s move on. You possess an impressive wardrobe. Where do you get your clothes from?
Most of my wardrobe comes from Galileiprints – Galileiprints.co! Galileiprints designs high-quality adventure and travel gear for small and medium-sized dogs. Their 2018 collection includes waxed canvas and leather pet carriers, performance rain jackets, cold-weather trail coats, and dog hoodies. Steph launched djangobrand.com a little over a year ago while we were living in the Pacific Northwest.
Aside from my Galileiprints collection, I have a penchant for superhero tees. I own two Batman tees, a Superman tee, and a Captain America tee.
If you could be a superhero, which one would you choose?
Batman, without a doubt. My alter-ego on Instagram goes by the name Bruce Ween. It’s a play on Bruce Wayne, but spelled W-E-E-N, like “weenie.” My followers also know me as The Dark Wiener, The Caped Sausage, and The Masked Hot Dog.
Not many people are aware of this, but when the original Batman costume was being made for Christian Bale during filming, it turned out to be 11 sizes too small. The costume designers mistakenly noted his height as 6 inches instead of 6 feet. Pretty silly, right? The good news is, Christian knows I’m only 8 inches tall, so he sent me the tiny Batman costume. Christian’s a great guy; we catch up over a beer sometimes.
How often do you take your owner for a walk?
I usually take Mom or Dad out for a walk 3-4 times a day. I love going on long walks with them, especially after work, just before sunset. Sometimes we head to the river, and other times, we stroll down to Club Monaco so I can say hello to my girlfriend, Tiffany.
Who’s worse, postmen or vets?
Veterinarians, without a doubt. I despise vet visits and get pretty upset whenever I have to go.
Thank you for being on the show! If you could share one thing with your fans, what would it be?
I played Juror #3 on a recent episode of Law and Order: SVU. Unfortunately, I’m too short to be seen reaching over the Juror Box, so you won’t catch a glimpse of me on the show.
